Residual Income Home Business – 6 Reasons Why This One’s the Best

Listen, I’m going to talk to you like I would any of my friends, and tell you what the best residual income home business is, in my opinion. And all of my friends now know – it’s affiliate marketing! Why? Oh my gosh, there are so many reasons why affiliate marketing is the absolute best.

1. It’s YOUR business. Which means you set your own hours. Which means you work WHEN and WHERE you want to. I am a mom of two beautiful children, ages 4 and 2. When I was working at a desk job in a stupid cubicle, I saw my kids for about 3 completely rushed hours a day. One hour in the morning when I constantly yelled at them because I was going to be late for my oh-so-important (rolling eyes) job, and 2 at night where we crammed in dinner, bath, books and bedtime. If you’re a parent, then you already know, THAT SUCKED! Even if you’re not a parent, you value your time, don’t you? Do you want to waste it away sitting in some gray cubicle? Or do you want to have the time, freedom and money to do what you want to do? Aren’t you an adult? Shouldn’t you be able to make your own decisions? You CAN with your own business as an affiliate marketer!

2. When I say you run your own business, I don’t want to make it sound complicated like you have to do a business plan and submit it and get loans and have employees and rent an office building. Oh no, it’s not like that at all! (Unless you want it to be!) In fact, this is THE easiest business to set up that I have ever come across. And even if you don’t know a darn thing when you get started, you learn as you go. Just like with any other job, hobby or anything new that you have to learn.

3. You don’t need a lot of money to get started. In fact, you can start with NOTHING and still do amazingly well. There are so many free tools and resources out there for affiliate marketers. Now, I am the type of person to try lots of different things, so I have bought quite a few e-books. But they have all been extremely helpful. I am also a member of Wealthy Affiliate, which is a site that I absolutely love. I have learned SO much there that it was worth every single penny. In fact, I even convinced myself I would cancel my membership, but then I just couldn’t do it! I learn too darn much from that site!

4. You don’t need your own product. Which means NO HASSLE for you! You don’t have to worry about inventory (on physical products) or customer service stuff. You only have to refer people to a product that you recommend. It’s so simple that I can’t believe everyone in the Universe isn’t an affiliate marketer!

5. You get to help people. People are out there with their problems that need to be solved. You can step in front of them with a solution that can really help change their lives. I know my life has been changed many times over with a few key products that I’ve bought. Has your life been changed too? I bet it has. You can do that for someone else.

6. It’s sales, but not in a weird car salesman-y type of way. I make sales and yet I don’t have to call anyone, dress up in a suit, have important meetings or use any kind of office jargon. (I freakin’ HATE office jargon.) I don’t have to pretend like I care about some company and be on my best behavior. I am free, free, free to talk and dress how I want! And I truly believe we should ALL be free to do what makes us happy, fulfilled and satisfied in life. Don’t you want your freedom back? Don’t you deserve it? Well, I can tell you, you DO deserve it!

Those are just a few of the reasons why I love affiliate marketing so much and why I think it’s the absolute best residual income home business. Now, if you are looking for residual income, not all affiliate programs will qualify. But there are many out there that do. Keep your eyes and your mind open.
